As long as there is a diverse set of groups that interact with one another, racism and race-tensions will live. This issue may derive from past personal observations, stories told from friends, or simple jokes shared between friends. All the stereotypes that our communities form about a group of people based off of skin color, clothing, piercings, tattoos, sexual orientation are nothing more than personal opinions that have gained national fame and consistent recognition throughout history. Videos and articles that have become viral and showcase support of equal rights for African Americans, Latin Americans, or the LGBT communities have all faced much ignorance and negativity as there will always be someone too overwhelmed by their own beliefs, that the truths and beliefs of others become irrelevant. The amount of people that dwell on negative instances and use the moments to determine their personal views on a group succumbing to moments of success within these communities.
There was a video released by FCKH8 and a group of children from Ferguson, Missouri that brought attention to the issue of racism in a manner that is playful, but the potential to rise some tension between races throughout physical communities and communities that are virtually generated due to the aggressive attitude of the video. An issue such as police brutality and racial profiling should not be referred to in a timid manner, but the more aggressive the message is viewed, the more attention and comments it will gain. In many professions and ideals kids are the future or just the cute factor, but in this case they are the children that comprehend the culture around them. Kids that understand the world that surround them is better suited over the parents and children that live oblivious to the issues that are occur on their screens and in the front of their eyes everyday.
