“Kobe Bryant’s Muse” is the new must-see inspirational film on Kobe Bryant’s journey. The film just premiered Saturday night on Showtime, but can still be viewed at various times of programming. The Kobe documentary began with a quote that should help everyone in their own journey,
There is power in understanding the journey of others to help create your own.”
“Kobe Bryant’s Muse” covers everything from Kobe’s childhood in Italy, skipping college to go straight to the NBA, his chase for Vanessa Bryant, his first championships with Shaq, getting the Lakers ready for more Championships post-Shaq, and his current day injury struggles. Kobe knew early on that he was good at basketball. He would watch Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and the Showtime Lakers and knew he had to be the best. He knew he had to master his craft. He knew he had to make sacrifices to get to his destination. These sacrifices included lots of time and sleep. By watching the film you could tell that Kobe had lots of emotions bottled up, but he let it all out on the basketball court. This passionate play of letting it all out on the floor even included personal life vs basketball life conflicts which led to the emerging of “The Black Mamba.” With such determination, hard work ethic, lack of sleep, and tough mentality, it made Kobe Bryant the 5 time NBA Champion that he is today. His career is not yet over, but it has been an amazing story thus far. It will be great sight to witness the rest of Kobe’s career with the Los Angeles Lakers in action.
