May the 4th Be With You – Happy Star Wars Day!

The month of May is home to tons of holidays like Mexican Independence Day and Memorial Day! However, one particular holiday seems to go unnoticed each year — Star Wars Day.

Today, May the 4th, people have done extravagant things as to create marvelous fan-fictional arts and even as to dedicate exhibitions in museums to commemorate the date.

In the past years, we’ve had such a lackluster amount of Star Wars content due to the hiatus of the franchise; but do not be discouraged, this is the best time to be a Star Wars fan! 2016 started with a bang as we were blessed with the first of many upcoming Star Wars movies directed by J.J. Abrams, not to mention we are getting the first of the few Star Wars spin-off films later this December. (I’m mostly really excited for Ip Man)

In addition to our inner-geekdom getting its time to shine, the outer-system of Streetwear has even had its fair share of JEDInspirations. Brands like Nixon have created C3PO & R2D2 watches, along with Mintcrew creating their own Jedi Hoodie!

In short, Star Wars will have a place in our hearts no matter what system you are from. So Happy Star Wars Day to all and May the Forth be with you.
