Every start of a New Year we come up with resolutions we always want to follow but dies down when we get towards the end of the year. Here are the top 5 resolutions you can keep in mind if you have no clue where to begin.
1. Do Something Different
Whenever you wake up in the morning think of something you can do different today. Now I don’t mean by having an identity crisis and moving to Switzerland but what I mean is a small change. Lets say one day you are heading to class with your normally “unassigned” assigned sitting. What if you sat somewhere else? Your whole experience of that class will be different based on the new people you meet. Just tweak your day with little changes and life may become unexpectedly more interesting.
2. Be more Optimistic
Learning to think more positive comes a long way when there are obstacles to overcome on a daily basis. Just by waking up, you can be thankful of the little things in life you might not even notice throughout your day. With this tactic, you can revert the negative mentality with an optimistic perspective and conquer any situation. Little do you know, you are setting a prime example for others, soon enough your friends and family will start to notice the difference you are making for yourself.
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to experience something new for a change? Currently, you are stuck in a small bubble where it can be difficult to break free, take this as a challenge and explore new places. It is a great way to distract yourself from all your responsibilities and get a break from your normal routine. Tell us what places you will be traveling in the future, we would like to know what part of the world you are visiting.
4. Stick to Your Decisions
This year try to be more assertive with your decisions whenever you come across a difficult choice to make. Saying no doesn’t make you a bad person, it just means you are doing what is best for you. I guarantee you will live your life peacefully without any stress. Whenever you go out to eat and you’re not sure whether to get the sandwich or the combo, go for the combo you’ll thank me later.
5. Healthy Lifestyle
Our greatest enemy is being healthy. We have all been guilty of eating those extra spicy Hot Cheetos along with a nice cold refreshing soda on the side. It’s time to change your eating habits and envision a new version of yourself. I am not saying to go on a full on diet but just eat what is right, you know exactly what I mean. One day whenever you have nothing to do just hit the weights or just go for a jog, you’ll feel a lot better than just being at home looking at your phone all day. Also, eating healthy greens while avoiding meat with a chicken based diet can help prevent global warming.
