Spread This Kid Genius’s Message

Zhang Junhao has a very important message that he brings us in this video. Here are a few things I got from watching this video…

1. The mind is a powerful thing!

They say that the first few years of a child’s life through observational learning are very important in determining their personal development. Zhang is only 3 years old! Young Zhang wasn’t even afraid of being there by himself, dancing in front of everyone, or having to talk to the judges! 3-year old kids are smarter than we think. The judges were even questioning what type of upbringing could develop such a smart and fearless kid.

2. He said it all.

That got me to thinking… Really, what type of upbringing could develop such a smart and fearless 3-year old kid? The answer was all in the interview. Love. With the family, dancing, laughing, and happiness as the basis for this kid’s life… what else could spell out a loving environment. Can a loving environment really foster such a smart and fearless kid?

3. We’re not that different.

At first I was going to say that Western and Eastern cultures are quite different. So I checked America’s Got Talent to compare the two cultures based on judges’ personalities, audience reactions, etc… and honestly… we’re not that different. At the end of the day, we’re all still human beings living in the same world sharing many of the same experiences.

4. This kid can dance.

Someone give him a show in Macau already! Starting to dance at 10 months old and dancing everyday can do wonders!

5. Zhang does it for his family.

He has this figured out early in life. If his family supports him and all he wants to do is make them happy, then he should support them back and do exactly that.  Zhang dances because he loves his family.

6. Do what you love.

When Zhang was asked why he likes to dance, he responded, “Because I like dancing. When I dance, my mom laughs. My mom says, ‘laughing is happiness.’” He loves dancing because he loves his mom and definitely wants her to be happy.  Zhang loving his mom is what he loves. It’s so much more powerful when what you love… is loving someone else.

7. Spread Happiness.

Zhang was also asked, “What is your dream?” He responded, “My dream is to make people happy because I’m happy.” Then he asks them, “Are you Happy?” If we know how enjoyable happiness is, then why don’t we all share it with everyone else?
