Teenage Bottlerocket Release Minecraft-Themed Music Video

Popular Wyoming pop-punk band Teenage Bottlerocket have taken a rather unique approach to making their latest music video, which they released last Thursday, March 19th. The band decided to go with a Minecraft-themed music video for their song, “They Call Me Steve.” The video was likely released in promotion of their upcoming full-length, Tales from Wyoming, which is set to be released March 31st under Rise Records. This will be the band’s first full-length since their debut to not be released under Fat Wreck Chords, owned by NoFX’s Fat Mike.

This is not the first animated music video to be released by the band. TBR’s video for “Bigger than Kiss” from the album They Came From the Shadows was also created in animated fashion. “They Call Me Steve” has a cheesy appeal to it, with its very pop-punk lyrics and upbeat, yet hopeless-romantic feel. Check out the video below, and keep an eye out for Tales from Wyoming.
