Tesla had a their big “D” announcement today revealing that they are coming out with a brand new version of their Model S with All-Wheel Drive. It’s capable of going from 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds flat. Many were expecting them to announce their “auto pilot” car but were not obliged by Tesla. However, they did make sure that the Model S coming out will be compatible with the auto pilot system they will be releasing in the near future. Some of the features of this auto pilot system include parallel parking, read speed limit signs, change lane when you signal, and even park itself in your garage. Tesla is expecting these features to all be available by sometime next year.
